Our 2018 Chardonnay reflects the classic California style: fuller bodied, richly textured and brimming with lush fruit flavors. Fresh notes of pear, pineapple and peach dominate the palate, framed by a baked-apple richness and a creamy mouthfeel. Bourbon barrel aging weaves a warm thread of dried herbs and cedar in the glass, culminating in a vanilla-caramel finish.

Vibrant gold color. Deep, inviting aromas of apricot marmalade, orange peel, lemon curd, with brighter tones of sea salt, honeyed tea, chalk dust. Plush and smooth texture, this is full-bodied and round with creamy texture, but zesty acidity, which frames the wine well. Creamy pears, lemon curd and baked apple fruit, with nutty, almond, pistachio notes, cinnamon. There’s this crisp, flinty, mineral vibe underneath that is really exciting. Rich but lively, bold but nuanced, Red Shoulder Ranch does it again. This is the 25th anniversary vintage of this wine.

We’ve always been a fan of this Sauv Blanc, but this vintage is almost spiritual in nature. Aromatics are hedonistic with scents of perfumed grapefruit, pineapple and white flowers. Jasmine lilts on the palate that takes lift off with a graceful minerality. Blend of 86% Sauvignon Blanc and 14% Semillon, 75% barrel fermented, three months sur lie aging.
